We repainted the bathroom an "aluminum gray" which really brought out the gray speckles in the tile and really made the slate vanity pop! Oh and apparently it helps to give the bathroom a good scrubbing every once in awhile. ahem.

Pretty Girl Scooters

There was a 4 hour window of decent weather this weekend, so Cathy and I took the Pretty Girl Scooters out for a ride to the Chinese Buffet for lunch and then to the International Market to pick up some meat for dinner.

It's so much fun riding the scooters around because ANYONE on a scooter or motorcyle always waves to us. It's like we're part of some exclusive cool club.

After running errands, we started for home and that's when it started to rain...well, actually I heard thunder first and looked at Cathy at a red light and went "Doh!" Fortunately, we made it back before it REALLY started raining.

We're both looking forward to warmer weather so we can ride more often and save some serious dough (Doh!) on gas.

Dog Day Afternoon

Oh and Toshio is the big, stinky one. Thank god this blog doesn't have smell-o-vision.

Cathy and I went and saw Jason Mraz at the Variety Playhouse and this dude was the opening act.

Spokesmodel

As you may know, Fanta (see below) is owned by Coca-Cola. Since Pretty Girl Gas Station only carries Fanta Orange, it's only fitting that we pay tribute to Fanta's parent company, Coca-Cola with our first Pretty Girl Spokesmodel! (Andy wasn't available).

Our Products

Has Hostess stopped making choco pies? I couldn't find any pictures online. Oh well. I've personally tested the American Pie and it's delicious. It'll do for now. So these are the two products Pretty Girl Gas Station will carry. Orange soda and choco pie. We might add Benson & Hedges Deluxe Ultralight cigarettes later if only so my sister will come to work. ha! Just kidding. If that was the case, we'd stock high quality vodka.

I'm kidding. Oh god, she's going to kill me. hee

The Official Uniform

Okay, I know what you're thinking...my god, she has alot of time on her hands. Well...okay, I'll give you that. BUT I am also multi-tasking with work so there.

Anyway, onto the important stuff. The unveiling of the Pretty Girl Gas Station Uniform! It's 100% cotton and so comfortable you can practically sleep in it...ahem.

New Logo!

I'm thinking I might be in trouble with the whole "Hello, Kitty" theme so here's the Pretty Girl Gas Station mascot..."Haddo, Cat".

You can now download the EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION. Simply complete the application and email it back to me. It's in .pdf form and you should be able to tab through the fields and then save it to your computer before sending it to me.

Haddo and Welcome to the Pretty Girl Gas Station!

I've decided I don't want to do web design anymore, instead I want to open up the Pretty Girl Gas Station (see artist rendering). My theme will be Hello, Kitty. Each pump will be named after a hello kitty character that way, people will have to say, "I want $20 on Choco Cat, please." and I will say, "Okay, that's $20 on Choco Cat. Would you like a snack or drink?" and then the person will look around my Pretty Girl store and say, "Why do I only see Chocolate Pies and Orange Soda?" And I would say, "Because that's all we carry." And then he'll get an orange soda and choco pie, fill up his car with $20 of gas from Choco Cat and drive away happy.

Will you be an investor? If you'd rather work at the Pretty Girl Gas Station, I'll be accepting applications shortly.

• Anna: I think that's a great plan. Because if your customers are only buying $20 worth of gas..they will make it about 2 blocks and have to return to you to buy another $20 worth of gas..and basically you will have alot of repeat customers...
• Dina: As lovely as this sounds, dear, you’d have to get out of bed in the morning, put on real clothes (unless pajamas are going to be the official uniform), AND you’d have to talk to real people all day!
• Kimmy: I'll take a job. But only if it comes with a costume.
